Cam MacDonald

Cam MacDonald is from Seabrook, New Hampshire, and attended Winnacunnet High School, where he was a standout athlete in both baseball and football. Cam first walked into Powerhouse Sports as a freshman in high school — an average baseball player and athlete at best. Through years of consistent, focused work with Mike Montville and Cory Varrell, he transformed his body, developed real strength, and refined his swing and overall game. That commitment and growth turned him into one of the top players in the state by the time he was a senior.

During his final high school season, Cam captained the Winnacunnet baseball team and led the Warriors to the state championship game, finishing the year with a .484 batting average and eight home runs. His dominant performance earned him numerous accolades, including New Hampshire Gatorade Player of the Year, Division I Player of the Year, and Seacoast Sports Awards Player of the Year.

Cam continued his career at the University of Maine, playing Division I baseball for three seasons. Following a hip injury in his junior year, he transitioned into a coaching role as a catching coach during his senior season, where he discovered his passion for developing athletes and teaching the mental and physical sides of the game.

Today, Cam leads the Powerhouse Catching Program at Powerhouse Sports in Seabrook, NH,where he works with both baseball and softball athletes of all ages. With deep experience in catching, hitting, and strength training, he focuses on building explosive, efficient, and confident players behind the plate and at the plate.

Rooted in the local community and driven by high-level playing and coaching experience, Cam is committed to helping athletes take their game to the next level.
